rapper, producer, dj

BIO:

Donwill is the kind of creative who refuses to stay in one lane – and that's exactly what makes him so compelling. As a rapper with his group Tanya Morgan, he helped create the underground classic Brooklynati, but music is just one part of his story.

His podcast The Almanac of Rap has taken home two Webby Awards for Best Music Podcast in 2023 and Experimental Innovation  in 2025, proving he's just as skilled in conversation as he is at spitting bars. When he's not podcasting you'll find him on the road with Michelle Buteau as her tour DJ or spinning in some of Brooklyn’s hottest nightlife spots and keeping crowds energized with his spot-on musical instincts.

Behind the scenes, Donwill's music production work has earned him credits on everything from Michelle Buteau's A Buteau-ful Mind  (Netflix) to Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO). He has also produced theme music for award winning podcasts like Slow Burn (Slate), Another Round (Buzzfeed), #Adulting (WNYC) and served as Music Supervisor for Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas (HBO).

Whether he's writing rhymes, hosting conversations, curating playlists  or crafting beats Donwill brings the same authenticity and creative vision that's made him a go-to collaborator across music, television, and podcasting.

Donwill has worked with a host of clients including Nike, Sonos, Discovery Channel, Etsy, Soul Cycle, HBO, Flocabulary, Okayplayer, Google, Brooklyn Bowl, Prospect Park Alliance and 74 Events, . You can check out a few of his favorite mixes on his Mixcloud Page.
